서울을 기반으로 활동하는 큐레이터이자 통번역가, 필자이다. 영문학과 비교문학, 사회학을 전공했고, 19세기 과학소설을 다룬 졸업논문으로 영문학 석사를 취득하였다. 2009년 사무소:스페이스 포 컨템포러리 아트에서 미술 일을 시작하여 SeMA 비엔날레 미디어시티서울 , 주한영국문화원 아트팀 프로젝트 매니저를 거쳐 일민미술관, 5회 안양공공예술프로젝트(APAP)에서 큐레이터로 일했다. 프랑크푸르트 Portikus에서 열린 임민욱 개인전 《United Paradox》(2015 ) 등 여러 전시, 개별 작업의 프로듀서로 일했고, 런던 Iniva에서 열린 박찬경 개인전(2015)에서는 보조 큐레이터로도 일했다. 10여년 간 수집한 예술서적 1,000여 권을 모아 동시대 예술 서가인 ‘서울리딩룸’을 운영 중이며, 한국예술종합학교 조형예술과 전문사 과정, 서울과학기술대학교 조형예술학과 등에서 강의했다. 국내외 미술지 기고와 예술과 인문학, 영화 관련 통역과 번역 활동을 지속하고 있다.

Jaeyong Park is a curator, translator and writer based in Seoul. He majored in English Literature, Comparative Studies and Sociology, then received a master's degree in English Literature with his thesis on 19th century science fiction. In 2009, he started his career In Samuso: Space for Contemporary Art and Seoul Mediacity Biennale. He worked as a Project Manager of Art Team at the British Council Korea, and later worked as a curator at Ilmin Museum of Art and the 5th Anyang Public Art Project(APAP). Park also worked as a producer of several exhibitions and individual works, including Minouk Lim's solo exhibition United Paradox(2015) in Portikus, Frankfurt. He was an assistant curator Chan-kyong Park's solo exhibition(2015) in Institute of International Visual Arts(INVIA), London. He is running a contemporary art bookstore, Seoul Reading Room, which has a collection over 1,000 art books collected over past 10 years. He lectured at the department of art and design at Korea National University of Arts and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. He has contributed to several journals both inside and outside of Korea, and translated essays in arts, humanities, and films.
