권태현은 서울의 한국예술종합학교에서 미술이론을 공부했다. 《Ignorant Mobility》(서울, 2021), 《광장/조각/내기》(서울, 2020), 《A Mode》(서울, 2018) 외 여러 프로젝트를 기획하고, 《전시미분사》(서울, 2021), 《모두의 소장품》(서울시립미술관, 2020)등에 참여했다. 기획자이자 비평가로 활동하고 있으며, 독립적인 전시 공간들의 운영에도 참여하고 있다. 예술 바깥의 것들을 어떻게 예술 안쪽의 대상으로 사유할 수 있을지 탐구한다. 정치적인 것을 감각의 문제로 파악하는 관점에 무게를 두고 연구를 지속하고 있다. 최근에는 온라인과 오프라인, 물질과 비물질의 이분법을 가로지르는 기획에 대한 고민을 구체화하는 중이다.

Taehyun Kwon is an independent curator who studied art theory at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul. He curated projects such as Ignorant Mobility (Seoul, 2021), Plaza to Places to Pieces (Seoul, 2020), A Mode (Seoul, 2018), and participated in Study for Exhibition Histories (Seoul, 2020), Collecting for All, Seoul Museum of Art (Seoul, 2020) and others. He is a curator and critic and also participates in organizing independent art spaces in Seoul. Kwon explores how to think of common events as practices of art. He continues research with the view of identifying the political as the aesthetic. Recently, he has been intensifying ideas about traversing between online and offline, materials and non-materials.
