이현종은 런던의 첼시 예술대학교에서 순수미술 학사 그리고 영국왕립예술학교에서 순수미술 석사 학위를 받았다. «노래하는 사람»(대안공간 루프, 서울, 2021), «콜렉티브 컬렉션»(을지예술센터, 서울, 2021), «엑소포니»(을지로 OF, 서울, 2021), «The Whistler»(갤러리 ERD, 서울, 2020), «No Space, Just A Place : Eterotopia»(대림 미술관, 서울, 2020), «APT Live»(APT Studios, 런던, 2018), «Watch This Space»(Hackney Centre For Better Health, 런던, 2018), «hmn 015»(런던, 2018) 등의 단체전에 참여했다. 듀오 콜렉티브 detox.로도 활동하고 있으며 을지로 OF의 기획자, 현대무용단 리브레호벤의 음악 연출가이자 DJ등의 다양한 활동을 펼치고 있다. 주로 상호적인 관객 참여형 작업들을 선보이며, 언어, 소통, 그리고 하류문화의 근원을 기반으로 사운드, 영상, 퍼포먼스 작업을 보여주고 있다.

Daniel Schine Lee has earned his BA in Fine Arts at Chelsea College of Art and Design, and MA in Fine Arts at the Royal College of Art. He is a curator at the artists-run space - Euljiro OF, and is also active as an artist duo – detox. Lee has participated in various shows in Seoul and London such as Joy of Singing (Alternative Space Loop, 2021), Collective Collection (Eulji Art Center, 2021), Exophony (Euljiro OF, 2021), The Whistler (Galerie ERD, 2020), No Space, Just A Place : Eterotopia (Daelim Museum, 2020), APT Live (APT Studios,2018), Watch This Space (Hackney Centre For Better Health, 2018), hmn 015 (2018). Other ongoing projects include collaborating on sound and research with contemporary choreography group Libre Joven, and DJ-ing in Seoul’s underground scenes. Primarily interested in interactive participatory projects, Lee’s works deprive or evoke audio, visual, and linguistic touch to stimulate multi-sensory experience with the audience.
