파라 와르다니는 현재 자카르타 비엔날레 2021의 프로그램 디렉터이자 자카르타 예술 위원회(Dewan Kesenian Jakarta)의 시각 예술 위원회의 프로그램 디렉터로 활동하고 있는 미술사가이자 큐레이터다. 파라는 이전 인도네시아 족자카르타에 있는 인도네시아 시각 예술 아카이브(IVAA)의 전무 이사를 역임했으며, 인도네시아 최초의 현대 미술 디지털 아카이브인 IVAA 디지털 아카이브를 비롯한 다양한 일을 경험했다. 그녀는 IVAA에 재직하는 동안 GNI 온라인 아카이브 시스템을 만들기 위해 인도네시아 국립 미술관(GNI)과 파트너십을 시작했다. 또한 파라는 2013년 족자카르타 비엔날레의 예술 감독이자 싱가포르 자원 센터 내셔널 갤러리의 조감독을 경험했다.

Farah Wardani is an art historian and curator who currently serves as the Programme Director of Jakarta Biennale 2021 and Visual Arts Committee of Jakarta Arts Council (Dewan Kesenian Jakarta). Previously, Farah served as the executive director of Indonesian Visual Art Archive (IVAA) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with works including the IVAA Digital Archive, the first digital archive of contemporary art in the country. During her leadership, IVAA initiated a partnership with The National Gallery of Indonesia (GNI) to create the GNI online archive system. Farah was also the artistic director for the Yogyakarta Biennale 2013 and was the Assistant Director of the National Gallery of Singapore Resource Centre.
