미셸 호는 동남아 현대미술 분야에서 10년 이상의 경력을 지닌 큐레이터다. 난징기술대학 소속 ADM 갤러리의 관장으로써, 대학의 연구 분야와 연결되는 프로그램에 뉴미디어와 사진을 도입함으로써 갤러리의 전시 분야를 강화해왔다. 이전 싱가포르 미술관의 큐레이터였던 그녀는 2013년부터 2015년까지 미술관의 현대 미술 컬렉션 수집 전략을 담당하며 공공 커미션 및 개인 컬렉션의 큐레이팅, 다양한 청중을 위한 교육 및 공공 프로그램을 이끌었다. 그녀는 《종교 개혁: 2000년 이후 싱가포르 미술의 회화》(2019), 《규칙의 예외》(2018) 및 《갈등의 예술: 아시아 소사이어티 뮤지엄 컬렉션의 비디오 작품》(2017) 등을 기획했다. 2013년 싱가포르 비엔날레의 공동 큐레이터를 경험했으며, 2020년 제58회 베니스 비엔날레 싱가포르관 큐레이터로 임명되었다.

Michelle Ho is a curator with over 10 years’ experience in Southeast Asian contemporary art. As director of the NTU ADM Gallery, she enhanced its exhibition mandate through introducing new media and photography in its programming that connect to university’s research fields. Formerly a curator at the Singapore Art Museum, she has led the acquisition strategies of its contemporary art collection from 2013 to 2015. Her skills include curating public commissions and private collections, and educational and public programming for different audiences. Some of her exhibitions include Reformations: Painting in post 2000 Singapore Art (2019), Exceptions of Rule (2018) and The Art of Conflict: Video Works from the Asia Society Museum Collection (2017). She was also co-curator of the 2013 Singapore Biennale. In 2020, she was appointed curator for the Singapore Pavilion at the 58th Venice Biennale.
